The Tavistock Inn is located in the heart of Tavistock, a charming and traditional ancient stannary and market town which is situated on the River Tavy. The Tavistock Inn has been recently refurbished and has three modern double rooms which can accommodate two persons per room and a family room which sleeps four. All rooms are en suite with shower and are furnished and equipped to a high standard. The Tavistock is a traditional British Inn with a quirky and eclectic décor, providing a relaxing and welcoming base for both business and leisure. Tavistock Inn provides great home cooked food and enjoy an excellent local reputation for our breakfasts, bar meals, excellent cask ales and friendly and efficient service. Breakfast is served from 8am and is included in the room cost and is guaranteed to set you up for the day. Our menus are drawn from fresh local ingredients wherever possible and we serve freshly prepared soups and Chef’s specialities which change on a regular basis. We often promote supper club nights where we feature barbecues, steaks, curries and seafood and international specialities. Our ‘ladies nights’ are particularly popular. We serve food until 9pm daily, however we are happy to provide meals for late arriving guests or make some sandwiches up for you for your trips out or return journey home.
